Already in her hand
Beautiful × Safe

She carries a water bottle
every single day.
Now it carries her.

77% of women report feeling unsafe alone in public. Not because they don’t want protection — but because everything designed for that purpose asks them to carry something new, charge something constantly, or look like they’re afraid.

HydraHalo is different. The safety system lives inside the bottle she already has in her hand. No behavior change. No extra item. No signal of fear. Just her, and the quiet confidence of knowing she’s ready.

130dB
alarm — louder than a jet engine at 100 feet
“I would never feel safe on that walk alone.”

Six features.
One gesture. Zero compromise.

01
Pull-Pin Halo Alarm
A recessed pull-ring at the base. One deliberate pull triggers a 130dB siren. The pin stays tethered. Push it back to stop.
02
Blinding Safety Light
High-lumen LED aimed outward as a deterrent, downward as a lantern. Activates automatically on pin pull. No extra button to find.
03
Halo Ambient Ring
A soft LED ring glows around the base — the visual signature of every Auraste product. Beautiful and functional at once.
04
App Alert to Contacts
Pin pull sends an SMS to your emergency contacts with your location — automatically. Just pull and help is notified.
05
Always Ready
User-replaceable battery. No charging. No app dependency for the alarm. It works at 3am in a parking garage the same as day one.
06
Premium Everyday Carry
Stainless steel. Enclosed straw. Cupholder-compatible. Sage, blush, cream, stone. Coveted before anyone knows what it does.

Four seconds.
Everything changes.

Step 01
She Carries It
HydraHalo is already in her hand — at yoga, walking to the car, on campus. No behavior change needed.
Step 02
She Feels It
The recessed Halo loop is always there — invisible until needed. Her thumb knows where it is before her mind does.
Step 03
She Pulls It
One pull. The 130dB alarm fires. Both lights activate. Her emergency contacts receive an SMS with her location — instantly.
Step 04
She Resets It
Push the pin back in. The alarm stops. She’s back to carrying a beautiful water bottle — and nobody is any wiser.

We were on vacation
when we built this.

Michael and Sarah were walking through a city on vacation when Sarah clutched his arm tighter as they passed through a rougher neighborhood. She said she would never feel safe walking there alone.

On the walk back, they passed a group of women heading to a yoga studio — carrying nothing but a mat and a water bottle. Sarah said she would never feel safe on that walk with only those things. Michael said, somewhat jokingly: “What if the water bottle had the device built in?”

Sarah stopped. “That’s a great idea.”

That night, on vacation, we began building Auraste.
